So far as I know , Theotown still lacks a really in - depth user guide / encyclopedia.

( usually produced by a fan or fans , even in cases where it is a multi - million dollar game company with dozens , or a hundred - plus , employees.

I guess that is standard business culture today : companies don't hire How - To writers even when they can obviously afford it.

So Theotown has nothing to be ashamed of on that score. )

So my BEST GUESS is that Management is like schools ; something your population wants , and is required , for residential and commercial to upgrade to TT and TTT .


Most of the time , and most players , want exactly that.

If , in one apparent exception , you want a town exclusively devoted to farms and Level T industry , then Management and Schools are something you DO NOT want.

Again , the above is a guess / a theory.

In my experience certainly if you build schools demand for farms and Level T Industry drops in the toilet and NEVER recovers.
And whatever Level T Industry buildings or farms you have already built never grow , or even empty.

Anyway , in my experience of three months playing , Level T residential , commercial, and industrial functions JUST FINE WITHOUT Management buildings.

Hence my theory that Management is only necessary/ wanted for Level TT and Level TTT residential, commercial, and industrial
