Underground waste system

Have you ever went to Monte Carlo? Know as Monaco? This city is one how the only one to have a underground waste system, peoples drop their garbage inside a pipe and with a aspiration system ( dont know if it is correct english word ) , the wastes are sent to a under ground treatment plant that produce both cold, heat and electricity... How ingenious

Yeah, I've been there a month ago. But I don't think it will be implemented, too much work
