✅Can't remove interregional road

If I build a road between two cities -in a region-, then i delete It on one side, and then on the other, the first one I removed appears again. Does this have to be fixed or is there a way to get rid of those roads?

Which road is it? I just tested it with a prebuild highway and it worked. Have you ensured that you saved the changes before changing the city?

It's a country road. Also, I'm playing sandbox, if it helps.
It saves every time I go to the region so every time I change city it saves the changes

Remove it, build the small fountain park there, save it. Go to the other city, do the same.
