hello,

-i finished building my first plug-in 3 days ago(note that it has many imperfections and a lil off scale and measurement).had it for 2 days in my game files without any issues, there is nothing i can add to it. there were few details that i wanted to add but due to size limitation i couldn't. also i wanted to add smoke so bad but it's a lil complicated for me. maybe in future.
-i realize that when it comes to real life sizes of machinery and the hole itself is far away from being realistic and that's why i said "small diamond mine".
-originally it was in the industrial section but the game gave it level 1 with 5000 workers which it wasn't what i intended. i tried doing something about it in json file but the game wasn't responding so i moved it to type "public", of course you can always change it back to industrial so i added the code "auto build false" in case you did, you don't want to see a hole randomly spawning in your map .

-i did use a small part or stripe consist of about 9X5 pixels from random image i found in internet, to give it a realistic texture and natural gradual colors. as i do not wish to bring any kind of problems to developers i will not publish the link to download plugin until they give me their approval

UPDATE: thanks to cesareborgia94 and CommanderABab now we have an update, the diamond mine now is in industrial section, tower is gone and it looks neat and doesn't overlap other files. you don't need to delete original plugin, you can keep it if you want.

But still, don't post the link. However I appreciate how you kept in mind the thought to ask the devs first for approval, especially if your plug-in consists of things that are related to copyright.

Level 1 industry with 5000 workers is not really a bad idea. Poor people needs to have jobs anyway.
If your "small" diamond mine gets greenlit you should put it in the industrial section, and another one in the decoration.
Honestly, it resembles what a real life diamond mine should be so I'm impressed. All we need now is just gold mines...
If it gets released gonna add it to my plugin collection.

alrighty thanks it's not a problem . it was just an initial project to improve my skills and expand my knowledge and i loved to share it with everyone but without causing any copyright problems.

honestly i did not read about the mines in the images that i used as a reference, but i think you're right.

It look like a freeport from Indonesian

Good idea, an open pit mining. Maybe we should add another category or another zone for mining industry.

@former member , I'm pretty sure it is regardless whether it is a building or not.

If there was copyright on real building, there would not be vegas effeil tower / statue of liberty so I think there are not

Photographs may have copyright protection also.

That technique of using real life textures has been done multiple times before without problems, so I don't think this is really different.

Eiffel tower is copyrighted, the light is copyrighted because it was put during 1900s, while the tower itself is no longer copyrighted because the person that copyrighted it is dead and the years after him has passed.
