We can discuss that also, besides its not like the UN cant wage war or do stuff if some powerful country doesnt agree, anyways it can only do peacekeeping missions and to formulate resolutions approved by majority of nations. The main purpose of the UN (this UN) nowadays is a global stage for diplomacy but thats about it. Sad but true.

We request an emergency meeting of the Security Council as soon as possible to discuss the Koalafornia Crisis and to formulate a united, effective and non aggressive response that will best serve the citizens of the said state and not other country's interests.
I suggest that we take in the refugees and hunt down the anarchists. We also suggest that Koalafornia remain a no-man's land so that no country will be able to claim the said territory.
I agree to that proposition.

Greetings from Rhinestone!

We are calling for a meeting about an issue of our world's biodiversity and environment.

We have created a Coral Triangle which encompasses Rhinestone, Attobaxia, Svostine's Overseas Colonies, Tribelandia, Fairview Coast, Toiiol and West Arizelon. We seek that the Coral Triangle be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site to ensure that all states would take care of the Coral Triangle.

Regards,
Diamond Palace

Rhinestone is pushing for the approval of making the Coral Triangle a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All countries located along and near the Coral Triangle, will take measures to ensure the survival of our biodiversity. Also, no military ships will be deployed to the areas and only patrol boats operating under UN laws or part of the UN Forces to ensure the safety of the Coral Triangle's biodiversity

:bc for Yes
:bx for No

Well, its perfectly not needed. A coral map would just cause many countries to contest that they have corals, many corals, etc etc

Good afternoon!

In connection with the world situation, it is in the interests of our country to become a member of the UN. In this regard, the Government of the Kingdom of Vizaria requests permission to join the UN.

Yours faithfully,
Prime Minister Maria Repo,
King Francis IV Fenro

About the coral reef, it will be a wonder of UNESCO and be under UN autority , fishing will now be illegal there and UHAE will give depolluters systems.

Woah, there's no need to make fishing illegal since by doing so, you'll kill basically half of a country's economy. I suggest that we take steps in monitoring fishing and catch illegal fishermen and pirates.

Also, fishing will be technically illegal if it's outside the EEZ. However since it's in the EEZ, the country has sole and legitimate rights to say whether fishing is legal there or not

Well, I want some areas of the reef ( international areas ) to be not allowed for fishing, other areas will be regulated by upcoming laws from states that own the EEZ

Can we ban using nets and explosives in the area?

International areas are illegal to be fished by fishermen since it will be a violation of international sea law. And about the upcoming laws, will the states decide on what laws they want to have on this matter?

Well, that's already illegal fishing if using explosives. But you can't ban nets, that would be completely illogical.

Yes they will decide but UN will impose 2 laws to each states that own parts of the reef :

Explosives and net banned ( it would heavily damage the reef ) ( especially the net wich totally destroy coral ) ( I think net could be used in some regulated areas )
Shark, whale, dolphins, orcas hunting wont be allowed
