Arkhaza: The Origins

#1

Post by ArchaeoPX »

Arkhaza was once a rugged and empty patch of land. It had mountains, rivers, islands, and a lot of snow.
Through the years, people from different cultures settled on this land, helping build what will eventually bring what used to be nine separate nations into one, unified country.

This is the origins of Arkhaza.

Chapter I: Settlement
~2000 BCE.
--△--

A horseman and his family fled north to avoid the conflicts within an unknown kingdom. Following them are several of their acquaintances. Together, they settled near the mountains, and lived off hunting. They called this land "Alsevo".
A few decades pass and the community grew from a small dwelling into a village. At this time several more communities diverged and popped up... around the plains, near the coasts... even reaching the islands far off Alsevo. Trading among these villages is prevalent, despite the distance. However, they've gotten used to it as time passed.

For now, these villages remained calm and peaceful to each other. Tensions may only come as these villages grow.

Coming soon... Chapter II: Growth.
