Now, here's an idea that is easy to implement and can add a new disaster: burnable trees. Now since all terrain buildings are unburnable (except for plugins who doesn't have the fireproof code), you cannot burn
a terrain building. Now, if trees are burnable, then we can have forest fires! A new "disaster"! (it will not be really be a new disaster since it is just a fire on a tree) It starts when a tree is on fire, then other trees caught fire too, until it gets worse and worse. To make it harder, I think trees should spread fires faster. (aka a higher fire spread percentage) Now this could be a difficult disaster to deal with, since I think the only way to stop it is by:

-Using the fire helicopter
-Isolating a burning tree
-Letting all trees burn down

Firetrucks should also stop the fire too, but only if its in range.
A forest fire will spread forever unless there is no more buildings that can burn, all the trees burnt out or if the firefighters saved the day. Of course, they can spread to your RCI or services, landmarks etc. If the fire reached them! A non-terrain flammable building that is on fire could also spread the flames to create a forest fire. If this is implemented, then fire helicopters will finally be useful, since they are pretty useless.

Why is it easy? Because unlike the other changes, you only need to add a SINGLE code to the game, not a single code per tree. There is a special code for trees, so plugin creators will not worry about chasing some coding for their plugins.

If you simply ignored the fires, here are the effects:

-Landscape destroyed
-Those destroyed trees will produce a destroyed tile, that produces pollution and noise
-There's the chance that it will affect your buildings
-You will feel guilty

Etc..


PART 2:
For the sake of convenience, I decided to merge another similar idea.

So you got some randomly spawning green giant pickles with their own minions. But they just do weird things.

But there are rumors that this creatures are not friendly and are in fact, evil. However, this has never been confirmed.
Back to the idea: So you will have the giant pickle act like how the Dinosaur disaster and the Giant Robot disaster work in SimCity 4. To understand what I am saying:

-The Big Evil Pickle will have no destination and it will not only move in a straight line. They will walk around (or crawl? Idk). I suggested this because if you made them have a destination, or they can only move straight, Then they will become too similar to the Tornado.
-The Minions will also have no destination and not move only in a straight line. They will just walk around, too. But they will not stray too far from the Big Evil Pickle.
-There is no way to stop it, but it will dissipate by its own. Don't worry, they will not destroy everything!

Those pickles will destroy anything that comes in their way, so eh... Use your move tool wisely.

Why did I suggested this?

-Because if we added this then we will have our own version of a SimCity 4 disaster, in a funny way.
-Because I think there should be more disasters. The reviews from the Play Store agrees with me.
-This will make the move tool more useful.
-The glowing red eyes from the giant pickle are creepy, perfect for this disaster.
-For the sake of lolz

I have another suggestion to add, after a forest fire, the forest will very slowly grow back.

After the trees burn, they will "turn into" a "burned trees" tile, which over time will grow back into a tree.

Again, it could be a problem if the player doesn't wanted the destroyed trees for some reasons (Decorational purposes, most likely).
Perhaps a way to implement it is by: an optional option if you wanted to or not in the settings.

What does the pickle do? Just updated and bam a random pickle apears?? Btw a forrest fire would be epic as i live in australia and would go well to create a realistic summer

The Pickle is just for the lolz.
They do not do anything bad, they just walk around. But the suspicious glowing eyes of the giant pickle makes it seems like its.. evil.
That's why I suggested this disaster. More reasons above.

You know what? I _ed my industrial trees to _industrial trees. Even with three fire helicopters covering an area, it got sort of old sending them every two minutes.
