So it has come to my attention that a lot of roleplay's are becoming less fun and organized. So I thought I would share some advice, feel free to use it.
  • Don't over complicate

    Don't make your roleplays too complicated. It can ruin the effect as many people might not want to go to too much effort. Anything like involving different websites (such as lists ect), massive tables or needing people to regularly post something are just a few examples. It can make your topic dead or inactive.

  • Consider Others

    Never make a one-sides roleplay. This means taking full control and not giving anyone else power (note: this means only in roleplays that involve others, news channels ect are excluded.) Don't just think about how you wan't your roleplay to go, think of other too. Also, if somebody makes it clear that they don't want to roleplay something then don't, especially when it involves their own country.

  • Grammar

    Grammar is actually pretty important in roleplay, it can ruin the immersion when you see "u" and "ur". This doesn't have to be perfect grammar, but at least spelling words right and including commas and full stops.

  • We can't read your mind

    Always remember, others can't read your mind and may not know where you wan't the roleplay to go. A simple way to avoid this is to make it clear in a PM or message.

  • Offtopic

    This is a big problem in roleplay, the amount of off-topic. The roleplay forum is for roleplay, so if you want to chat about something off-topic use the small talk or game discussion forum, it's common sense. A big thing is if you wan't to say something off-topic (that still relates to the thread) than it can help using the [/secret.] tool. To get ...this simply type [secret.]<message>[/secret.] (Leave out full-stops)

• Don't get mad/stressed

I've never seen this but for a reminder, don't get mad. This is just a roleplay, anything can go boom boom or downhill and crash, and getting stressed will strip of your health.

• Don't be too OP

Just don't be too OP (Over Powered) with roleplay, like being too SCI-FI (THEMAX'S level is okay)
Having too much country GDP, and many other ASPECTS.

  • Multiple Languages
    Always post translation for any letters with different languages than english, this can be fixed by google translate, but it's a bit broken for usage.

New rule concerning Sci-Fi and Opness and also wars.
  • Being Logic

    science-fiction and demographic logic

    Even if you are willing to do a sci-fi country, stay logic, dont create a country with teleportation or time machine , you cant own 5 billions factories on 1 planet....etc , stay logical, for exemple, if you have a huge population ( like 2 billions ) , you will have to deal with some nessecities ( you cant feed such population easy, especially if the territory is small ) having such a large population got many inconvenients , you have to think to thoses. Concerning army, ive seen many countries owning a large army compared to the population, for example, owning 1 millions soldiers if you have only 4 millions inhabitants ( except if you want to copy north korea wich isnt the best example of a good country ) think about the fact that thoses 1 millions soldiers in a 4 millions population country wont be able to do the civillian work, so, the 3 millions left will have not only to feed themselves but also the army...

    wars & diplomacy

    You cant declare war to someone without valable reason like "UAGF declare war to Svostine for winning the olympic games" ( yeah.... I know... salvador and Honduras declared war for a soccer match, this is soccer war, ridiculous... ) . You cant also immedialty declare war for any reasons considered valables, instead , you should make it progressive ( first sanctions, etc, and maybe war if there is a logical reason, also, if one roleplayers MP you because he dont want war in his country roleplay, dont insist on that, he rule HIS country and can choose what will happen if it dont interfere with others Wills for their own countries...
    Logical reasons for war may be :

    Territories ( if you have too much population or if this territory is full of valuable ressources, you wont invade a country simply for his empty desert if you got 7 000 000 inhabitants and if your country is size of russia )

    Policies ( if a country see you and your citizens as a threat and is dangerous to you, that may seem logical to strike first )

    Wars between Nuclear countries ( be logic, you wont attack a country with nuke if you are without nukes... and if you own, be logic and reasonable.... that is the Mutual assured destruction, if you launch a nuke, they will replicate... ) , if you got nukes, dont send thoses since the beginning, nukes used in war are usually strategics weaponery , if thoses are used against troops, the ennemy or other countries wont nessecary nuke you too, but be logic, if you nuke a urban area, you will most likely get in war with everyone... that is why you shouldnt consider nukes and mass destructions weapons as an Average weapon because this use of weapon Can act like a boomerang except if you are a crazy leader that got nothing to lose with that... yeah... the best is to be at peace...

New rule/advice concerning the latest argument in TheoTown Currency Exchange:
  • Read Things Properly
    Please read everything properly, an argument was happening due to misread of currency price exchange, i.e. £:RÇ (1:12) into RÇ/£ (1:12). But the most important thing is don't make an argument, it might lead to loss of reputation and it would mess up topics. Also, contact the moderators if an argument is currently happening, they might resolve an argument.

As RP moderator, J propose that the national army only can be the 5% of the national population... For reducing the OP a little.

So your army will be:
Population × 0.05 (for avoiding the division)
Or:
Population × 5 ÷ 100

Im seeing that some players (2) dont agree with my idea so... If u dont agree you can request a litle change in the diration of each year... If you want to make the periods more controlable and soft.

Role play concerning countries owned by an absent member is not allowed except if the respective owner of the country approve so .

Owning multiple countries is allowed , however, if one of thoses is "dead" , it may be deleted.

New rule concerning events , avoid to do shocking events based on real life ( ex : 9/11 , 11/13 ) as it is disrespectful toward casualties and thoses who have connection with the events ( survivors or peoples ).

Well you’ve guessed it , avoid doing on rp what we don’t want anymore especially if it imply terrorism / genocides .

The GDP it's all the money that a country produces each year but it doesn't means you have it...
I'll introduce Budget...
It's the available money that a government has,
Just take a percentage of your GDP (tax) and the result will be your available money
