I had it hacked, but long ago stopped doing this, because I am for fair play. I assume the message was implemented precisely for that purpose, wasn't it, to spoil the fun for hackers?

I there was a TheoTown that you could buy for money on Steam or something it would probably pick up a bit of momentum from people who liked the older SC games and from those who hated the newer ones. On top of that there would also be the community from the mobile game version to help keep it rolling. Of course, none of this will probably happen anytime soon because the game isn't finished yet, so there isn't much reason to port it anyways.
