Tunnels add some functionality to the monorail but even if you don't use tunnels it is fine.
I think tunnels could be an addition if you have some time to spare. Most of the players would want it to have tunnels, just my opinion.

It does have religion influence, I'm making it so I don't have to mix real life religions in my fantasy-like cities. I'll do the interior (tap to hide the walls, similar to Stronghold) and statues then I'll release it. I'm still working on the fields system, but I think I finally found the best way to do it.
Zone the farm(wheat/corn/cotton etc.), the fences are placed on the edges and 2 control tiles are placed on each corner of the field automatically. 2 control tiles (north and south) spawn machinery. Machinery is simple fun functionality. Each tile shall have it's own age, it'll take 500 days for one full field to change state and 480 for the machinery to complete the biggest possible field. I just need to code it all now. The main problems is removal, if you remove some parts of the field, it will break and won't work properly, the player will have to use fences to know where the fields end. Also textures, but that won't be so hard
