That's because those tiles are supposed to be back. Corners don't have tiles, so they are just beach on a block.

Looks like Theo's gonna be forced to make corner and back beach tiles

You have to rebuild that beach. Once it's built it doesn't change it's frame, therefore it looks like that now.

Never mind, fixed the beach barriers in straight. But the corner tiles is still a problem.
