First of all - thanks for this fun game. I've really nad fun playing it and really liked the artwork. I will certainly recommend it to others and donate . But as a programmer I have a question: what programming language did you use? My intuition tells me it was Java. Am I right?
Good luck

Hi lukasz1985,
thanks for your nice feedback
You're absolutely right, we used Java in order to write TheoTown. The OpenGL Wrapper jPCT has been used in order to simplify drawing (using just OpenGL is horrible; using tools from Google would be too slow).
Unfortunately Java is also the reason why the game doesn't run on all devices so far. It seems that some smartphone manufactures don't want to support at least a heap size of 64 MB, which is needed in order to run TheoTown (that's silly because almost every device today has at least 512 MB RAM).
Greetings
