Actually is possible make night in theotown they just need to take out rain from rainy wheather and they get darker screen *night*

For now you could just set your brightness lower

But maybe you don't need to change the textures of buildings when you put like a dark filter over it as shown in the picture, I understand nobody wants to make night frames.

I also would like to add night mode, but I have no idea yet how to make it look realistic. Just make the whole city dark is not so nice

That looks good but I think the best way to make a city dark is by adding lights to some windows likr you put smoke on buildings, it will take some time but it is better than making night frames
