Well, just one mechanism is broken

That would be non-retracted landing gear.

The "Needs..." need to be "needs..." in the .json file.

You may not notice any ill effect because they are all the defaults, but I believe the "Needs..." are ignored because they start in upper case.

QuickEdit will save files as .json

What did you set "p" to? I imagine if it is used, it would be probability a car is spawned each day.

No, the car spawner has to be in main body.
