Does your device use a 8192x4096 texture? Do you experience performance issues?

I have no chance to predict performance for devices that I don't have at hand, but a huge texture shouldn't be slower than a small one.

Type pt into the console. The new screen will state the actual plugin texture size above the texture. If it is 8192x4096 (and mts is 8192 or higher) then you're fine and the extra plugin space shouldn't have an impact on performance. Right now only ~50% of all devices are capable of that. I found out that under certain circumstances (custom font (sometimes) + Chinese language) there's not enough texture space allocated for font rendering. It will be fixed in future updates :bf

Your GPU didn't clean up the memory before reusing it. So yeah, that is the loading screen, but it would be overridden by plugins if space is needed. For that reason there's no need to clean memory manually.

It's basically the result of a test for more plugin texture space. As expected it has bad impact on performance. It might eventually be added as experimental feature, but I disabled it for now. Thank you for the feedback :bc

It simply doesn't make sense to write documentation for things that are quite unlikely to be used. You know how much effort it can be. @FranchuFranchu unfortunately not, there's no magic involved. The game does nothing else than getting the image out of the json and putting it into the plugin texture, like with any other image, too.

It's indeed more a neat feature than new functionality.

Base64 is just an encoding, not an encryption :)
The feature here is to be able to create plugins that only consist of a single json file that contains all the images in textual representation (that's what base64 is about).

Do you mean weather effects? You can disable them if it's that bad. But in general every display displays colors differently so it's difficult to find a general solution.

Regarding your building I'm confident that less saturated colors and shadow would greatly improve it.

Once you got permission just state that fact in your plugin thread. If you don't get permission (regardless of whether it's because the author disagrees or isn't active) I suggest to try to come up with your own graphics.
